How does it work?
SkinPen’s microneedles penetrate the skin’s surface, triggering a natural immune response to disinfect, remove debris, increase blood flow and activate the creation of new tissue.
The micro-channels created by SkinPen are rebuilt with new cells, rich in collagen and elastin proteins. This improves skin quality, visibly reducing facial acne scars and wrinkles, leaving skin more smooth, radiant and younger-looking.
Details of the Treatment
Start with an application of topical anesthetic, to ensure you are comfortable. The SkinPen is then carefully glided across the skin, concentrating on any areas of concern. The treatment is focused on the face with the option to ‘add-on’ the neck, decollate and hands.
The downtime is minimal. You will just see slight swelling and some redness/pinkness that looks and feels similar to a mild sunburn. This usually lasts up to a couple of days, so we recommend booking when you have time to incorporate this into your schedule.
